my chemical romance “conventional weapons”

FEATURED IN COMMUNICATION ARTS DESIGN ANNUAL 2013 / During the recording of 2010’s, “Danger Days,” My Chemical Romance shelved ten finished songs — enough music to constitute a whole other album. Varnish, having a long-standing relationship with the band, was approached to create art for the shelved songs and design a special series of five 7-inch 45rpm records, each with two tracks. With just simple sketches from the band and the title “Conventional Weapons”, Varnish created this limited release set, that quickly sold out.
