bruery terreux

Placentia, California / In April of 2014  we learned plans were in place to take the wild, sour and funky beers from The Bruery and separate them from the “clean” beers to create a new brand called Bruery Terreux. Varnish was asked to create branding for this “wildly traditional bière”. We chose to encapsulate the Old World method of brewing farmhouse and wild beers, by taking heavy inspiration from old French packaging, colors and typography and brasserie inspired design elements. In addition to the branding, packaging, crowns and labels, we also executed the Bruery Terreux website for the new brand. The new look is immediately recognizable as coming from the parent brand of The Bruery, while also maintaining it’s independent voice. And the beer, of course, is superb.
